Since 1929, the Japanese American Citizens League has championed human and civil rights for Americans of Japanese ancestry and all Americans.
The Hoosier Chapter of the Japanese American Citizens League is committed to providing resources and programs that:
- Protect the rights of Japanese Americans and strive to secure and uphold civil and human rights for all people.
- Preserve and promote the cultural heritage and values of Japanese Americans in a multicultural society.
- Participate in the development of understanding between all social and ethnic groups.
- Promote a sense of community among the local peoples of Japanese descent.
